For my double page spread image I wanted someone that embraced the Mardi Gras theme. I took many pictures of people in fancy dress that were extremely beautiful. In the end i decided to choose the top right hand picture. This is because I think the model totally embraces mardi gras and it is a typical type of fancy dress. The mask is highly associated with the festival and the bright colours will help make her stand out and pop on the black pages of my magazine. I also think that this image appeals to my target audience as they are largely male and the image of a women will attract many people to read the article as well as maybe visit the festival itself.
